Boeing Product Data Exchange Conference

ITI TranscenData is again pleased to participate in the 2008 Boeing Product Data Exchange Conference, being held November 11-13 at the Arizona Golf Resort Conference Center in Mesa, Arizona. ITI will be exhibiting and presenting in support of this event now in it's 11th year.

ITI's first presentation, "Enabling Enterprise Interoperability through DEXcenter Enterprise Server," is scheduled for Tuesday, November 11th, from 1:00pm-1:45pm in Room Fairway 5A-5B. Boeing only attendees will gain insight into the DEXcenter’s role within Boeing and an overview of additional capabilities of interest to Boeing, such as 1) third-party translator integration, 2) PLM integration, 3) distributed processing, 4) data security and 5) specific configurations for STEPcentric data delivery. Through online demonstrations, attendees will also explore the DEXcenter interface, and the process for invoking a session and retrieving data. Attendees will also learn how the DEXcenter can be applied to supplier data exchange and long-term data retention.

The second presentation, "Feature Validation for the Model-Based Enterprise," is scheduled for the general session Tuesday, November 11th, from 3:55pm-4:40pm in Room Fairway 1-2. Attendees will learn how for many OEMs, an MBD strategy is built on the assumption that the 3D modeling system consistently interprets the master model data, including the geometry and the design features which generate it. Because each CAD system is built on a fundamentally different modeling paradigm however, complex design features may be interpreted incorrectly. This presentation will demonstrate how an automated feature validation solution will insure that your MBD data is accurate throughout the lifecycle of your product.
