January 2008 - ITI participation in the AIAA Legacy Data Roundtable

ITI TranscenData will be participating in the 46th AIAA Aerospace Sciences Meetings held January 7-10 in Reno, Nevada. As the industry leader in product data interoperability solutions, ITI is pleased to have been selected as a panel member of the "Managing Legacy Data in Heterogeneous Environment" roundtable. The purpose of this roundtable is to explore topics related to the creation and retention of Digital Product Data in Aerospace environments. Key issues that will be discussed include:

  • Legal requirements for product data creation, formatting and archival environments
  • Standards for data retention and the the role of AIAA, vendors and government
  • Product Life Cycle support standards for legacy data management
  • Capturing the design intent and the ingest process for effective use of legacy data.
  • Data quality assessment, retrieval, re-use and reformatting practices
  • Advanced migration and validation technologies within heterogeneous environments
