Proficiency

The Proficiency solution enables the transfer of the complete design intelligence between major CAD systems which includes geometry, features, sketches, manufacturing info, metadata, assembly information and drawings in the conversion process. High quality CAD models are transferred without losing their workability or manufacturing data. Moreover, the process not only preserves the design intelligence, but more importantly adds value by removing old issues embedded in the original model and extracting additional added value from a CAD migration or conversion. This results in fully functional models in the target CAD systems, which retain the original design intelligence while providing a reliable basis for further development.

DEXcenter

ITI TranscenData's DEXcenter incorporates a defined CAD translation methodology in a repeatable way to ensure best practices. DEXcenter is enabled to support the processing of hundreds of assorted CAD related applications including but not limited to:

• CAD system standards translators (IGES, STEP, DXF, Parasolid, ACIS)

Online Translation Services

ITI TranscenData provides online CAD translation services to meet the infrequent translation needs some companies may have that make a full onsite translation solution cost prohibitive. If your translation needs are 3 or fewer files per month then ITI TranscenData's translation service may be the right solution for you.

Sample Pricing (North America):

• 0-20 Mb:       $200 per file
• 20-40 Mb:     $400 per file
• 40-60 Mb:     $600 per file
• 60+ Mb:         Call or submit file for quote

The sample pricing shown above is for fully automatic CAD model translation with no manual intervention. Translation results are delivered "as-is". Most online CAD translation services involve the application of ITI TranscenData's CADfix technology.

An assessment of the model data and translation path will be undertaken ahead of translation to determine if any interactive repair, healing and verification time with an engineer experienced in CAD data translation is required. If manual translation support services are required we will contact you to discuss requirements and provide a quotation for the supporting services. Any additional services will be quoted on an hourly basis. Local pricing applies for services provided by our regional offices.

In some cases, the only way to migrate 2D Drawing and/or associated 3D Legacy Models is through manual remastering. ITI TranscenData provides cost effective remastering management services along with low cost off-shore design labor to accomplish our customer's needs.
