CADfix V6.0 Service Pack 1.0 - CAD Interface Enhancements

CADfix V6.0 Service Pack 1 contains important updates to several of the CAD interfaces as well as over 300 bug fixes and minor enhancements to the initial CADfix 6.0 release. It also includes all fixes from the earlier service pack 0.5. The following lists a selection of the most significant enhancements and bug fixes in the service pack.

Enhancements to Import/Export Functionality:

CATIA V4

• Bodies now exported as *SOL entities
• Improved export quality
• Support of attributes on surface and wireframe models

ProEngineer

• Significant speed-up when importing large models
• Support for importing Wildfire 2 models
• Import of user attributes e.g. material properties and density
• Export native Granite files to Pro/E 2001 and Wildfire 2
• Improved assembly export via neutral files
• Option to name assembly part files with component names
  

IGES

• Improved import of wireframe models, with optional line font filter
• Improved export of p-curves on degenerate NURBS surfaces

Enhancements to Wizard, Repair and General Display:

• Ability to save and configure the IGES import options for wizard
• New tool for splitting faces at iso-parameter lines
• X,Y,Z components in distance measuring tool
