CADfix V7.0 Service Pack 1.0 - Enhancements and Bug Fixes

CADfix V7.0 Service Pack 1 contains a mixture of minor enhancements and over 100 bug fixes to the initial CADfix 7.0 release. The following tables list a selection of the most significant enhancements and bug fixes in the service pack.

Enhancements to Import/Export:

  • IGES export now supports export of labels as property entities (type 406)
  • NX import has option to control imported units. Improved import of full torus bodies/faces
  • Import of IGES files with no line-breaks
  • Centaur/Flite3D export options for equally spaced spline points and max patch aspect ratio
  • New Export to "Xpatch" (see http://www.saic.com/products/software/xpatch)

Enhancements to Diagnostic Results, Healing and Repair:

  • Undo/Redo now preserves diagnostic results.
  • Diagnostic results now associated with working set, and automatically restored when set is re-selected
  • New tool for fitting curves through cloud of points
  • Improvements to robustness of planar splitter tool

Enhancements to Assemblies:

  • New assembly structures can be created interactively
  • Imported assemblies can be edited
  • New import option to ignore empty components
  • New Parasolid import option to explode assemblies
