CADfix V7.1 Service Pack 2 - Interface Enhancements and Upgrades

CADfix V7.1 Service Pack 2 contains updates to most CAD interfaces plus a few minor enhancments and bugfixes. The following tables list a selection of the most significant enhancements and bug fixes in the service pack.

Enhancements to Import/Export:

  • Support for CATIA V5/R18
  • Support for UG NX5
  • Support for SolidWorks 2008
  • Support for Inventor 12
  • Support for Parasolid 19
  • Support for ACIS R18
  • New options to split closed/seamless faces in UG and Parasolid files
  • Import of Publication names from CATIA V5
  • Import of user names from UG
  • Support for multi-solid ASCII STL files

Enhancements to Diagnostics:

  • New diagnostic for finding non-manifold solids

Enhancements to Healing and Repair:

  • Faster splitting of seamless faces.
  • Improved prepare for CATIA V5 to prevent faces being split by V5

Enhancements to Defeaturing:

  • Significant speed up in hole removal on large models

Extract the contents of the downloaded file and follow the instructions in the README (PDF) file
