CADfix V8.0 Service Pack 1 - Interface Enhancements and Upgrades

CADfix V8.0 Service Pack 1 contains updates to most CAD interfaces plus a few minor enhancments and bugfixes. The following tables list a selection of the most significant enhancements and bug fixes in the service pack.

Enhancements to Import/Export:

• New JTOpen export
• Support for CATIA V5/R20
• Support for UG NX7
• Support for Inventory 2010

Large Assembly Processing:

• Significant performance improvements
• New part filtering tools and screen selection

Surface Intersections:

• New tool for generating intersection lines between surfaces
• New tool for splitting faces along intersections

Enhancements to Defeaturing:

• New drill-tip removal tool
• Much improved face joining algorithm

Graphics Performance:

• Speed-up in manipulation of large models
• New advanced frame rate controls for further performance control

Note: The CATIA v5/R20 upgrade is contained in an additional service pack that should be installed after SP1.

Extract the contents of the downloaded file and follow the instructions in the README (PDF) file
