CADIQ 6.1 was released in November 2009 and is the latest edition of ITI TranscenData's innovative 3D CAD model validation and product data quality product. CADIQ identifies potential shape and fit problems and compares differences between 3D CAD parts and assemblies. These quality issues and introduced changes often affect reusability of engineering data in downstream processes such as analysis, manufacturing and data migration. CADIQ's production tested validation functionality allows users to accurately compare geometry, topology, feature definitions and assembly product structure. Some of the highlights of CADIQ 6.1 include:
- Direct assembly comparison (not flattening V5, NX, Pro/E, SolidWorks, Parasolid, STEP)
- Assembly comparison diagnostics
- Part feature parameter comparison diagnostics (for model revision in same CAD system)
- CATIA v4 CAD file interface for indirect CATIA V4 model analysis (Standalone - No V4 required)
- STEP PMI Polyline Presentation quality and comparison
- STEP Validation Property quality diagnostics
- Improved performance when using CAD Session Reuse
- Improved batch analysis using create_job and controller
- New CAD System support such as Pro/E Wildfire 5 and NX7

ITI TranscenData's CADIQ development team employs the use of the Footprints Customer Management commercial software product. If you already have a login and password, please proceed to the CADIQ Footprints Access site. Within footprints you have full capabilities to create and manage any enhancement requests or issues regarding your use of CADIQ.
