Problem Reporting and Tracking
The Proficiency development team uses a commercial software product called Footprints to track and resolve customer issues and enhancements. If you already have a login and password, please proceed to the Footprints Access site. Within Footprints you will find utilities to create and manage enhancement requests and/or issues involving your use of Proficiency software. If you have not been assigned login information, please contact our Proficiency support team via the information at the bottom of this page.

Release Information
Proficiency Collaboration Gateway 9.0, the latest edition of ITI TranscenData’s leading Feature Based CAD Interoperability solution for manufacturers and their suppliers. Collaboration Gateway enables the transfer of complete design intelligence between major CAD systems which includes geometry, features, sketches, manufacturing info, metadata, assembly information and drawings in the conversion process.
Collaboration Gateway 9.0 features an enhanced, state-of-the-art Completion Wizard, which operates as a plug-in and tracks and validates any manual changes that a user makes involving portions of the model that could not be automatically exchanged due to CAD incompatibility differences. From within the CAD system they are using, the user is presented with detailed information about pending issues, and presented options as how to successfully complete the model. Once an option is selected the model is automatically updated and all changes are documented.
Highlights of the new release include:
- STEP used as the default geometry engine when features are not used
- New CAD Support
- CATIA V5 R20
- NX 7.5
- Creo/Elements Pro 5.0 (Pro/ENGINEER WF5)
The new version includes many other automatic data exchange feature support enhancements for I-deas, NX, Pro/E and CATIA V5.. Additional enhancements include:
- Improved performance for V4 to V5 migrations, especially large assemblies
- Improved support for import of V5 assembly drawings
- Improved support for feature options in NX
- Revolve, Hole, Multi-Body feature, Multi-set Blend, Trim Body, & Swept features
- New assembly constraints types
- Catia Auditor – a batch utility to analyze the content of V4 and V5 data, and generate CSV reports
