Gathering Machine Information for License Codes

The files included in these .tar and executable files are utilities to help gather machine information that is needed to create an ITI TranscenData product license. Here are the steps to follow:

1. Make sure you are on the machine that will be either the license server or the node-lock machine for the Transcendata/ITI product.
2. Download the corresponding file for your machine. NOTE: To check if you downloaded the correct file, verify the size of the file with what is listed below.
3. On UNIX machines, untar the file.
   On NT machines, run the self-extracting zip file.
4. Change to the directory containing the utilities (this will be the name of the downloaded file minus the extension).
5. Run the get_mach_info program. This will create a results file.
6. Edit the results file to include the name of the product(s) you are licensing, or include the product in your email.
7. Email the results file to:

            works_supp@transcendata.com (for CADfix or IGESworks)
            dexc_supp@transcendata.com (for DEXcenter)
            proficiency_supp@transcendata.com (for Proficiency)
